Each year 850,000 older adults are diagnosed with a UTI in the emergency room.

That's why we created Pixie Smart Pads.

Our disposable pads fit into a brief or pull-up, and contain a sensor that monitors for signs of infection.

  • FAQs

    What are Pixie Smart Pads?

Pixie Smart Pads are disposable incontinence pads that use a biosensor to detect possible signs of a UTI. They work in conjunction with Pixie's smartphone app.

    How does it work?

The process is simple. A Pixie Smart Pad is placed in an incontinence undergarment two to three times a week. After it's been used, it is scanned with the Pixie app. Results are sent to a medical professional who will contact you if there's a risk of infection.

Why did we create Pixie Smart Pads?

We know how hard it is to care for someone who suffers from UTIs, so we designed a product that can help detect infections from the comfort of home. Through early detection, we hope to keep people healthy and out of the hospital, and relieve caregiver burden.

    Do I need a smartphone?

You'll need an iPhone 6. If you don't have one, we will send you one.

Can I use Pixie Smart Pads for myself?

Yes, as long as you wear incontinence undergarments all the time!

How do I purchase Pixie Smart Pads?

Please email [email protected] or call 855-749-4366.

    What's the cost?

Pixie is $59 per month, which includes two pads per week and a scanner (if needed).
